Description
The use of ionizing radiation-emitting isotopes in human medicine has been widespread throughout the world for over 70 years. The 2000th saw with the rise of PET imaging a significant increase in the impact of molecular imaging in the management of patients, and more recently the advent of vectorized internal radiotherapy (VIR) of neuroendocrine tumors has represented a new boom in our practices. In this new context, numerous preclinical developments have been initiated worldwide, notably within our C2VN/CERIMED research center, mainly dedicated to 1) the identification of new molecular targets, 2) the development of new vectorization tools, 3) the optimization of VIR therapies already available in clinics.
