Description
Various radionuclides are already in clinical use or are being considered for radionuclide therapy or complementary diagnostics procedures respectively. This presentation will give an overview about promising radionuclides, their physical and chemical characteristics and typical production routes. I will also present the recently established European medical radionuclide programme “PRISMAP” that makes available non-conventional radionuclides in high specific activity and with high radionuclidic purity.
