Participants
    • 10:00 10:15
      Round Table - Introductions 15m
      • Participants: Cosimo Nigro (CN), Christian Tacke (CT), Dmytro Kresan (DK), Enrique Garcia (EG), Guido Juckeland (GJ), Jutta Schnabel (JS), Kay Graf (KG), Mohammad Al-Turany (MAT), Harro Verkouter (HV), Tamás Gál (TG), Thomas Vuillaume (TV)
      • Introduction:
        • Goal of the meeting - KG
          • enlargement of OSSR community (also discussions with HSF started, to be picked up again)
          • collaboration and co-operation with national EOSC stakeholders; link via FAIR and GSI
          • Starting meeting with DMA-ST2: The Digital Scientific Method at https://indico.gsi.de/event/12261/

    • 10:15 10:45
HGF - Requirements and Software Packages 30m

What are the requirement from HGF side on the repository, what open points are there, where are further developments and support needed.

      Orateur: Mohammad Al-Turany (CERN)
      • Introduction of HGF and DMA-STA, see slides and google document - MAT
        • Milestone 2023: DMA repository of interconnectable, modular software in full operation
        • Long term plans - continuity and sustainability available
      • Requirement:
        • Open Source, modular solutions, open standards
        • F.A.I.R. principles
        • S4M: Shared, scalable solutions for science in Matter
      • Open Questions:
        • interoperability with data repositories (testing, validating, AI models, etc.)
          • Zenodo API
          • metadata as link from software to data repository - common definitions would be beneficial
          • MAT: prototype of FAIR - take software from OSSR and link to analysis platform and datalake
            • probably for the future
        • catalogue: central, federated or hierarchical approach
          • idea: federated, linked via APIs, co-development in the API mapping beneficial
        • Technical details:
          • Helmholtz AAI
            • EOSC AAI will be federated, link at KIT
            • edugain for OSSR development platform (or individual)
            • some specialities
          • Metadata details
          • Development platforms - gitlab in all HGF centres -> go for github (for development), CI more local
        • Sustainability:
        • GJ: possible input - metadata for software repositories
    • 10:45 11:15
OSSR - From Prototype to Repository 30m

Open Points from the current OSSR prototype to the final repository.

Orateurs: Jutta Schnabel (FAU Erlangen (ECAP)), Dr Kay Graf (ECAP - University of Erlangen), Dr Thomas Vuillaume (LAPP, CNRS)
      • Technical (see technical schema):
      • GJ: different Zenodo Instance (Invenio-based) available, how to integrate
        • OSSR not aggregator - OpenAIRE and SoftwareHeritage are
        • filtering mechanism for the portal
        • using Zenodo API
        • Invenio-based repository adopted in community
      • Administrative:
        • not fully covered from ESCAPE GA/CA -> (formal) agreement necessary
        •
    • 11:15 11:30
      Discussion 15m
      • how to continue:
        • link through GSI (CT)
        • test project to be defined in DMA, next iteration with OSSR
          • JS: onboarding is under development, science use case would be good
          • CT: requirement on metadata from DMA
          • MAT: R3B root to onboard?
        • have an agreement defined in parallel between ESCAPE and DMA;
      • technical talk from DMA at FG2
