We spent much of today's meeting talking Sara Bertocco's ideas for packaging and dispatching data and job descriptions. At least some of that turned into a discussion of “what is this whole OSSR thing, anyway?”.

Sara's ideas are outlined on Google Docs. Broadly, I don't think they are very different from what we have already discussed, except that they focus on containerization for managing the environment on the execution system.

There was extensive discussion on Rocket Chat after the meeting about the management of metadata in the OSSR. Much of this seems to focus on detail, rather than the big picture.

The SKAO team are deploying BinderHub on internal systems.

Next week there is a bank holiday in NL on Monday, and the IVOA InterOp all week. I'll send out a Doodle, but finding a meeting time might be hard (and if we can't manage, we'll skip the meeting).

Next time we do meet, chanial will present his ideas on the shopping basket, and we will finish talking through the vision doc.
