The onboarding talk of the HCG-16 project which was considered as test case can be found here with the recording at the cloud.
present: Aard Keimpema, Axel Donath, Christian Tacke, Dave Morris, Elena Cuoco, Enrique Garcia, Gareth Hughes, Harro Verkouter, Jutta Schnabel, Mark Kettenis, Matthias Füßling, Sara Bertocco, Sebastian Luna-Valero, Stelios Voutsinas, Susana Sánchez, Tamás Gál, Thomas Vuillaume, Valentin Pestel
The project is introduced by Sebastian: In the use case, the plots shown in this paper are offered as Jupyter notebooks on mybinder with all relevant code available at github, starting from the processing stage of the data.
The goal would be to run the use case within the ESCAPE environment:
Instead of running it on mybinder, the user
the zenodo interface can serve for the discovery of the workflow from ESAP (analogous to pulling a repository through Zenodo DOI in mybinder)
the "environment.yml" defines the environment for the notebooks in the repository
the workflow is defined in the repository - for integration, the question of granularity (full flow in one step or modularization?) has to be addressed.
Next meeting: end of April, beginning May: poll
