Description
Seminar of Ulrich Haisch (U. Mainz)
The physics related to the different types or flavors of quarks has had an important impact on particle physics
in the last forty years. Flavor physics has since continued to progress, and flavor-changing neutral current processes and CP-violating phenomena are still key targets of todays research because they may be sensitive
to physics lying beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. I will try to give a concise review over the rich field of flavor physics focusing on recent theoretical developments.
