"Playing with the big guys" --- Physics with Tops, Higgs, and Taus --

The CMS group at KIT in Karlsruhe is heavily involved in the physics 
program with top quarks and Higgs bosons. The main topics of interest in 
the top sector are property measurements in pairwise top quark 
production and precision measurements and searches for rare processes in 
the production of single top quarks. A field of interest is also the 
search for the production of Higgs bosons in association with single top 
quarks or pairs of top quarks, to learn more about the coupling of the 
Higgs boson to the top quark. In the seminar, I will give an overview 
over ongoing activities in Karlsruhe in the top quark and Higgs boson 
sector.
