Description
One of the most reliable solutions to the dark matter puzzle is that galaxies
are embedded in a halo of Weakly Interacting Massive Particles.
Indirect astronomical evidences for this fading population in the Milky Way
halo might come from cosmic rays and gamma rays measurements. I review
the main properties of indirect dark matter detection by means of gamma rays
and antimatter in cosmic rays. I discuss the astrophysical properties and
uncertainties for the signals and the theoretical frame in which these exotic
particles can be predicted.
