To the origin of the difference of FSI phases in B to pi pi and B to rho rho decays - Mikhail VYSOTSKY ITEP Moscou
Naive expectation of the color suppression of $B_d\\to\\pi^0\\pi^0$
and $B_d\\to\\rho^0\\rho^0$ decay probabilities is valid in the
second case but is invalid in the first one. The reason is the
large FSI phase difference between the tree amplitudes of
$B\\to\\pi\\pi$ decays with $I=0$ and $I=2$. The FSI model is
suggested which explains why this phase difference is large
in the
$B_d\\to\\pi\\pi$ channel and is considerably smaller in the
$B_d\\to\\rho\\rho$ one. CPV asymmetries are considered as well.
