Description
One of the subjects that has been most studied
over the last decade from a quantum-gravity perspective
concerns the implications of Planck-scale effects on the
propagation of high-energy particles.
From the crude models of the end of the 1990s
the literature gradually evolved to more detailed and
robust pictures, which I briefly describe. I also stress
the relevance of these studies for observatories of
high-energy neutrinos and photons
