Measurements of the $\tau$ - lepton polarization and its forward-backward  asymmetry at the Z$^{0}$  resonance have been performed at LEP. The precision reached was limited by the statistical uncertainty. The LHC provides the

 opportunity to improve the precision and test the SM of electroweak interaction.  A first measurement of $\tau$ lepton polarization asymmetry in $Z \rightarrow \tau\tau$ decays at LHC as well as prospects to measure Higgs boson properties exploiting $H \rightarrow \tau\tau$ decay  will be presented.
