Description
With the flood of data from particle and astrophysics experiments increasing all the time, it is harder than ever to test beyond Standard Model (BSM) physics theories in a comprehensive and rigorous manner. I will give a basic introduction to global fits of BSM physics models, before presenting a new software code (GAMBIT) for constraining generic new physics models using a very wide range of particle and astrophysics measurements. The code is open source, and will be useful to anyone who works on collider or dark matter phenomenology. Finally, I will present first physics results from studies of supersymmetric models and Higgs portal dark matter scenarios
