Description
Rare decays of heavy flavour hadrons are among the most promising paths to search for beyond Standard Model physics. Indeed, new particles could enter virtually the loop diagrams mediating rare decays and thus modify their properties, such as branching fractions or angular observables, testing mass scales well above the direct production reach. Evidence of lepton flavour violation and lepton universality breaking would also be a clear sign of new physics. In this seminar, a review of the latest (and most exciting!) LHCb results concerning rare decays will be presented.
