Description
Neutrinos take part in the evolution of the universe influencing its
history from radiation dominated early times until late structure
formation. This makes cosmology and, in particular, the Cosmic Microwave
Background (CMB) a valuable tool for testing Neutrino Physics.
Using full-sky temperature and polarization data from the 2015 Planck
release we can shed light on various interesting open questions such as
the value of the absolute scale of neutrino masses or their energy density.
I will describe different steps of this process from the actual building
of a full temperature and polarization likelihood function, through the
estimation of the parameters using different statistical tools, and,
finally, the interpretation of the results.
