Description
Run II at the LHC has just started at a new CM energy of 13 TeV and will deliver unprecedented integrated luminosity. Searches for high mass resonances will benefit greatly from these improvements and will cover much of the parameter range where new physics is expected. Top quark final states in particular play a key role and appear in many models. I will present 8 TeV results from searches involving top quarks and will discuss prospects for Run II and beyond.
