Title: The mathematics of Coulomb branches of 3d and 4d gauge theories
Abstract: The purpose of this talk is to give a progress report on my
joint works with M.Finkelberg and H.Nakajima
about the mathematical approach to construction of Coulomb branches
fora large class of 3d N=4 super-symmetric gauge theories and (more
recently) 4d N=2 gauge theories. I will try to outline possible
applications to geometric representation theory and list some open
problems.
