Precision measurements of CP violation (matter-antimatter asymmetry) in decays of heavy hadrons is a way to search for New Physics phenomena that is complementary to the direct searches carried out at the LHC by Atlas and CMS detectors. Such measurements have started at B-factories over a decade ago and now continue at the LHCb experiment. Precision measurements require precision tools. I will speak about the technique of amplitude analyses, the powerful tool which uses effects of quantum interference to measure dynamical properties of hadron decays. I will give examples of usage of this technique for studies of CP violation and hadron spectroscopy in beauty and charm systems and will show the prospects for future measurements at LHCb and upgraded B factory.
