Description
The XENON100 experiment, located at the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso (LNGS),
reached sensitivities on the WIMP-nucleon spin-independent cross section down to 2×10 −47 cm 2 after two years of data taking, excluding the signal at 90 % C.L. Other analysis, in different theoretical framework, have been also published.
The next generation experiment, XENON1T, is currently in the commissioning phase and by the fall the start of data taking is expected.
In this talk a comprehensive summary of recent results from XENON100 will be shown together with the update on the status of XENON1T project.
