The Forum de la Théorie au CEA aims to present a broad overview of theoretical research carried out in CEA laboratories, highlighting both the excellence and the diversity of the approaches developed across the institution.
The programme will feature pedagogical talks designed to make recent scientific advances accessible to all CEA members interested in current developments. While the Forum will naturally focus on theoretical physics, it will also address closely related fields such as mathematics, biology, computing, nanosciences, and other interdisciplinary areas.
In addition to the scientific presentations, the Forum will include two round-table discussions:
- Wednesday, December 9 at 16h00: The impact of AI on research in mathematics, theoretical physics, and beyond
- Thursday, December 10 at 16h00: Towards quantum computers: from theory to practice
