Overview of the new C++11 standard

The new C++11 standard published in September 2011 provides significant enhancements to the C++ language. Use of C++11 functionality will progressively become standard in High Energy Physic's software as the new compiler version supporting it will become mainstream. The seminar will present the programming language feature introduced with C++11 that are expected to be the most frequently encountered and used by our community in the next decades. The presentation will be made in English to accommodate our foreign associates and visitors.
