Description
Based on a new vision for the detection of air showers induced by ultra high energy cosmic rays, several radio-detection experiments are currently in operation (CODALEMA, LOPES, R-AUGER, TREND) or are being deployed (AERA). The first steps of studies made in coincidence with particle detector arrays have allowed analyzing the radio signal features on an event-by-event basis. The results demonstrated that it was possible to deduce the main features of the air showers in term of radio-trigger, of arrival direction, of energy of the cosmic. The possibilities of identification of primary are not yet established but the obtained performances already enable to examine the future of the radio detection of UHECR at larger scale. Possible developments in this field are discussed.
