Description

Simulating the laws of our world is not limited by computing power but by physical principles. This may sound reassuring, we may therefore not live in the Matrix. We will then ask whether these principles can be evade. An attractive possibility comes from asking a seemingly different question: Can a theory give a mass to fermions without breaking any symmetry? I will show that this question is equivalent to another one: how can we generate a massless proton?
