**Abstract:** We determine the CKM matrix element $|V_{ub}|$ through an exclusive study of the $B_s^0\to K\mu\nu_\mu$ decay channel. The data set consists of events recorded by the LHCb detector at the LHC at CERN during Run 2, from 2016 to 2018. The value of $|V_{ub}|$ is obtained from the branching fraction of the $B_s^0\to K\mu\nu_\mu$ decay, which is inferred from the reconstructed $B_s^0$ mass spectrum. Furthermore, a neural network model will be trained on Run 3 (2024) simulations of missing-track decays in order to improve the efficiency of $b$-hadron association to primary vertices with respect to the current method.
