erche de résonances scalaires supplémentaires dans l'état final $X\\to
 $\\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ à $\\sqrt{\\mathrm{s}}$=13.6 TeV).\nDes travaux port
 res observées à 95\\% CL sur $\\sigma(pp\\to X\\to SH\\to b\\bar{b}\\gam
largeur finie.\nAbstract :\n\nThis thesis presents a search for additional
scalar resonances in the $X\\to SH\\to b\\bar{b}\\gamma\\gamma$ final sta
te using proton--proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at
the LHC. The analysis is motivated by extensions of the Standard Model (SM
) with an extended Higgs sector\, and by local excesses previously reporte
d by ATLAS and CMS in the same final state. The search uses the full Run-2
  dataset\, corresponding to $140.1 \\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ at $\\sqrt{s}=13~\\m
 athrm{TeV}$\, together with a partial Run-3 dataset\, corresponding to $58
.6~\\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ at $\\sqrt{s}=13.6$ TeV.\nWork on LAr calorimeter an
d photon performance is also presented: studies on data-quality monitoring
of this calorimeter\, digital-trigger validation and identification of de
 fects related to its electronics\, noisy-cell assessment\, and photon-iden
tification efficiency with fast simulation.\nThe search presented in this
thesis targets a heavy scalar resonance $X$ decaying into a lighter scalar
state $S$ and the SM Higgs boson $H$\, with $S\\to b\\bar{b}$ and $H\\to\
\gamma\\gamma$. A parametrised neural network is used to separate signal f
rom background over the mass ranges $170\\leq m_X\\leq1000$ GeV and $15\\l
eq m_S\\leq500$ GeV. No significant deviation from SM predictions is obser
ved. The largest local significance is 2 $\\sigma$ at $(m_X\,m_S)=(235\,60
 )$ GeV\, with a global significance below 0.5 $\\sigma$. Observed 95\\% CL
  upper limits on $\\sigma(pp\\to X\\to SH\\to b\\bar{b}\\gamma\\gamma)$ ra
nge from 9.0 fb to 0.06 fb\, while the expected limits range from 11.4 fb
 to 0.09 fb.\nSince this search is performed in a quasi-model-independent w
ay using the narrow-width approximation (NWA)\, it is important to assess
the validity of this assumption before interpreting the results in specifi
c models. The interpretation is therefore extended beyond the NWA using TR
 SM benchmark scenarios. Finite-width effects\, non-resonant $SH$ productio
n\, and interference between non-resonant and resonant production are stud
ied at parton and reconstructed levels\, and their impact on the analysis
sensitivity is evaluated using different models. A compatibility criterion
is derived to determine the maximum width for which signal hypotheses rem
ain experimentally compatible with the narrow-width signal model. These re
sults provide guidance for interpreting the cross-section limits obtained
with narrow-width signal models in broader theoretical scenarios that may
 predict finite-width resonances.\n\n \n \nLien Zoom : ID de réunion: C
