DESCRIPTION:The top quark is expected to be particularly sensitive to new 
 physics effects due to its large Yukawa coupling and close connection to t
 he electroweak symmetry-breaking sector. I present a comprehensive SMEFT a
 nalysis of top-quark flavour-changing neutral-current and charged-current 
 effective interactions\, using constraints from flavour physics\, electrow
 eak precision observables\, Higgs measurements\, and electric dipole momen
 ts. The resulting bounds significantly improve existing limits on several 
 top-quark effective couplings and provide new constraints on CP-violating 
 interactions. Implications for rare top decays and future collider searche
