DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Eric Kajfasz (CPPM)\, Meng Wang\, Gang Chen (Institu
te of High Energy Physics)\n\nIt is our great pleasure to invite you to pa
rticipate in the 17th France–China Particle Physics Network/Laboratory
Workshop (FCPPN/L 2026)\, which will be held at the Institut de Physique d
es Deux Infinis de Lyon (IP2I-Lyon) from June 29 to July 3\, 2026. We warm
ly welcome you to attend the workshop and to contribute with a scientific
presentation.\n\nThe France–China Particle Physics Laboratory (FCPPL) wa
s established in April 2007 through an agreement between the Chinese Acade
my of Sciences (CAS)\, CNRS\, and CEA. Its primary objective is to promote
and strengthen cooperation between France and China in particle and astro
particle physics. Since its creation\, numerous collaborative research pro
grams have been developed and supported within this framework.\nIn 2024\,
FCPPL evolved into FCPPN/L\, combining an International Research Network (
IRN) with an International Research Laboratory (IRL) hosted on the IHEP ca
mpus in Beijing. This new collaborative structure brings together a commun
ity of approximately 460 physicists and engineers\, involving 18 CNRS join
t research units across 14 French universities and engineering schools\, a
 nd\, on the Chinese side\, CAS institutes (IHEP\, NAOC\, PMO\, USTC\, UCAS
) together with 23 universities.\nThe scientific scope of the FCPPN/L coll
aboration is broad and encompasses particle physics\, neutrino physics\, a
 stroparticle physics and high-energy astrophysics\, cosmology\, accelerato
r physics\, as well as theoretical physics and accelerator\, detector\, an
d computing technologies\, all aimed at advancing our understanding of the
Universe through joint efforts.\nThe IRN framework enables partners to co
 llaborate using world-class research infrastructures\, including\, among o
thers: LHC experiments at CERN\; KM3NeT in France and Italy\; LSM (Laborat
oire Souterrain de Modane) in France\; JUNO (Jiangmen Underground Neutrino
Observatory)\, CJPL (China Jinping Underground Laboratory)\, LHAASO\, and
GRANDE in China\; as well as SVOM\, a joint Franco–Chinese space missio
n.\nThe main objective of the 17th FCPPN/L Workshop is to present\, review
\, and discuss ongoing and future activities carried out by French and Chi
nese scientists within the FCPPN/L framework. The workshop will further st
rengthen our research collaborations and foster scientific exchanges\, pav
ing the way for continued and enhanced cooperation.\nWe look forward to we
lcoming you to Lyon.\nWith best regards\,The Local Organizing Committee(FC
 PPN/L 2026)\n\nhttps://indico.in2p3.fr/event/38713/
