Description
We have studied the muon neutrino and antineutrino quasi-elastic scattering off nucleon using a set of experimental data, collected by the NOMAD collaboration. We perform a measurement of the cross-section of these processes and the axial mass, which was involved into dipole parametrization of the nucleon axial form-factor. Special attention was paid to analysis of systematical uncertainties.
The axial mass values, obtained from the measured neutrino and antineutrino cross-sections and from the Q2 shape analysis, are consistent with each other. They are found to be in good agreement with ones, obtained in the previous deuterium filled bubble chamber experiments, but they do not support results, published recently by K2K and MiniBooNE collaborations.
