DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Vincent Vennin (LPENS\, Paris)\n\nZoom: https://cern
 .zoom.us/j/64458678005?pwd=bzRZcWNYZit3aHNuSlVRMXViQmUwdz09\nInflation is
a phase of accelerated expansion taking place in the early Universe. Durin
g this epoch\, inhomogeneities are generated on cosmological scales from t
he amplification of quantum fluctuations of the gravitational and matter f
ields\, that are stretched to distances of astrophysical interest today.Th
e energy scales involved in that process exceed those accessible in partic
le-physics experiments\, hence the early Universe is a promising probe to
test beyond standard-model physics. I will review the current status of co
nstraints on high-energy models of inflation\, and discuss what we may lea
 rn from future experiments.\n\nhttps://indico.in2p3.fr/event/38234/
