DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Marco Bonici (INAF-IASF Milano)\n\nThe analysis of g
alaxy clustering measurements from surveys like Euclid or DESI is likely t
o be affected by the so-called projection effects\, which causes the 1D ma
rginals of the analysis to not contain the bestfit\; this is a serious iss
ue which can potentially harm the cosmological interpretation of these ana
lyses. In this talk I will present a few avenues to tackle this issue\, ei
 ther using simulation-calibrated priors\, a frequentist framework\, or a b
ayesian reparametrization approach. All of these approaches can significan
tly reduce the projection effects\, following different strategies.\nSpeci
fically\, I will show the ongoing application of these methods to current
DESI DR1 data\, and will compare the results among them and with the basel
 ine DESI analysis.\n\nhttps://indico.in2p3.fr/event/35426/
