Description
The appearance of caustics in the galactic dark matter halo is a consequence of the collisionless and cold (i.e. with negligible velocity dispersion) nature of dark matter. I will discuss the motivations, the robustness and models of caustics, as well as their potential observational consequences for direct and indirect searches.
