Un résultat très connu de Bousquet-Mélou et Jehanne dit que, sous certaines conditions combinatoires, les solutions d'une équation polynomiale avec une variable catalytique sont algébriques. Nous donnons une preuve combinatoire de ce résultat dans le cas des équations d'ordre un, qui consiste en une bijection entre les arbres de dérivation associés à une décomposition catalytique et des arbres associés à une décomposition en grammaire algébrique.

Les limites d’échelles de cartes planaires de Boltzmann (critiques et sous une hypothèse de bassin d’attraction d’une loi stable) conditionnées à être grandes commencent à être bien comprises, au moins le long de sous-suites, et ont fait l’objet de plusieurs exposés aux journées cartes. « Grandes » signifie traditionnellement conditionnées à avoir n sommets, ou n arêtes ou n faces. En fait, dans ces modèles, ces trois paramètres sont asymptotiquement reliés linéairement les uns avec les autres, donc les trois choix reviennent au même, à une constante multiplicative près. Dans cet exposé, je présentai des résultats obtenus avec Igor Kortchemski sur ces cartes de Boltzmann conditionnées à avoir n arêtes et K_n sommets (donc n-K_n+2 faces). Éric Fusy & Emmanuel Guitter avaient prédit la vitesse de croissance des distances pour la loi uniforme, ce que nous avons confirmé en montrant de plus que la limite est la sphère brownienne. Je m’attarderai davantage sur le cas stable où, selon le choix de K_n, on peut soit retrouver la sphère brownienne, soit obtenir l’arbre brownien d’Aldous dans un phénomène de condensation, soit obtenir (le long de sous-suites) de nouvelles cartes stables « déformées » (par une dérive dans le processus de Lévy associé). On complétera agréablement ce diagramme en montrant que ces cartes continues stables déformées convergent à leur tour vers la sphère brownienne ou l’arbre brownien d’Aldous lorsque les paramètres varient. Je parlerai d'un modèle de croissance aléatoire en deux dimensions (croissance polynucléaire) qu'on peut étudier de manière combinatoire/algébrique via l'algorithme de RSK. Dans un travail commun avec Mattia Cafasso, Alessandra Occelli et Daniel Ofner, on considère ce modèle en demi-espace avec des sources externes qui augmentent la vitesse de croissance aux bords. On trouve une nouvelle distribution asymptotique pour les fluctuations dans la hauteur à l'origine, qui interpole entre diverses distributions universelles de Tracy et Widom de la théorie des matrices aléatoires et généralise une distribution de Baik et Rains définie uniquement en termes d'une solution de l'équation Painlevé II. Pour y arriver, on utilise des connexions entre fonctions symétriques, polynômes orthogonaux, et problèmes de Riemann-Hilbert.

Soient A_1,...,A_n des ensembles, le graphe d'intersection associé est le graphe à n sommets a_1,...,a_n dans lequel a_i et a_j sont reliés exactement lorsque A_i et A_j sont d'intersection non vide. Une question classique en théorie des graphes est de caractériser quels sont les graphes qui peuvent être représentés comme graphes d'intersection d'une certaine famille (avec les convexes du plan, avec les intervalles de R, les cordes du cercle unité, ...). Du point de vue probabiliste on peut se demander à quoi un ressemble un graphe d'intersection uniforme, pour l'une de ces familles. Dans cet exposé je vais expliquer pourquoi les "circle graphs" (graphes d'intersection des cordes du cercle unité) uniformes admettent une limite d'échelle au sens des graphons.
