General news:

  • Eric Pierre agreed to help to keep track of the inventory of items (module components, consumables, key equipment) and keep track of shipping/receiving. Please help him!
    • Module components are tracked also in the PDB, but consumables (even data pigtails!) are not

Wirebonding:

  • Digital quads: 1x v2.4 (2 fils broken to be fixed, but it will be ready soon)

Metrology:

  • Flex metrology / VI submitted and presented. Not reviewed yet 
  • Dummy metrology done (?). Presentation today. Submission soon.
  • Bare module IV done + results sent to experts to understand diff wrt vendor IV
  • Bare module metrology & visual inspection next
  • Gelpak tool precommande status?

Assembly

  • Our tool had an issue on two holes. Yann & Thibaud fixed it in our workshop
  • Briefly tested yesterday. Need to understand how to obtain good calibration. Sensible to vibrations.
  • Marco B and Francesco will go ahead with gluing tests tomorrow
  • How many more tool to order? We need 3 to keep up the rate. 3+1 spare.

Testing

  • LV distribution card. Assembly ongling, almost finished today. Cable bundles under assembly.
  • LV intermediate card. Interlock test done. Design OK.
  • DCS system
  • Will receive Keithley 2000 with multiplexer card tomorrow. Try to read 4 chips at once instead of muxing them on the same input
  • Digital module testing: ongoing, experience instabilities with one chip during very long tests (40 min). Francesco is modifying the program to fix this
    • 1.2 gbps firmware!
    • Data merging tested: still working, even better than before 
  • Qualification of testing
    • Need to have an in depth look at what is required by the document

X-Ray

  • Last components ordered (fixed light, better NTC for monitoring temperature) (? check precommande status)
  • Cabinet is missing holding bars. Not easy to find them in catalog / stock. Custom made in lab?
  • We need to finish the very last details (+ the fixed light that has been ordered) in order to take photos that needs to be adjoint to the Veritas report for the ASN
    • 2-3 weeks to send the report to ASN -> 3 months to have a response
  • Remi wants to organise a security commission of the lab to review our system
    • We have everything from the ASN dossier
    • Target: second week of may

Testbeam

  • Paul & Thibaud will go and stay most of the period
  • Francesco will referesh SCC testing procedures to Paul & Thibaud to be able to test our irradiated modules
  • AIDAInnova TB meeting end may
