1 VRE General updates

Orateurs: Alba Vendrell Moya (CERN), Elena Gazzarrini (CERN), Enrique Garcia Garcia (LAPP, CNRS), Giovanni Guerrieri (Universita degli Studi di Udine (IT))

1. Enrique: Trust-IT meeting talking about the VRE webpage, they are going to coordinate it, even if we keep populating the page with the narratives (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hYZNrr3PtQYPleUKbRDGHhS2fwnCVfyH9rDeMeTyvY8/edit). Maybe we will convince them that we can do that at least on the scientific coordination side.

2. Postdocs updates on workflows:

   • Estelle Pons

     • Gammapy and sherpa install in environment: request needs to be merged

     • test data to upload on directory to fit the data to agnpy and gammapy: next step

   • Misha Smirnov

     • inner group meeting about data and software not being officially released → provide python package as a way to access the data 

     • upload on data lake with rucio command by passing flags on rse with restricted permissions

   • Jared Little

     • not able to download data 

     • WP2 gitlab data workflows

2 SP-EU updates (AGNs)

Orateur: Estelle Pons (LAPP, CNRS)

1. DLaaS AGN environment updated.

• Issue with agnpy and astropy
• Installed gammapy and sherpa

2. VRE webpage information on SP-EU updated 

3 SP-DM Updates (Micromega)

Orateur: Pooja Bhattacharjee (Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP), CNRS)

4 SP-DM Updates (km3net)

Orateur: Mikhail Smirnov (Friedrich-Alexander University)

Internal meeting at ECAP to discuss about `aanet` software and data.

• After discussion, the best strategy will be to make a "service" from the software, i.e., to create a python package that can be later installed. 
  • Soft requirements should not be a problem; ROOT, python and gammapy needed.
• Data will be added to the DL in a second stage, but it will be definitely separated from the software package.
  • Small discussion about embargo data and how users will be able to access in the close future.

5 SP-DM Updates (ATLAS)

Orateur: Jared Little (LAPP)

Able to utilize the terminal to bring code from the repository into the environment.

1. Starting to create a Jupyter notebook, need to figure out a few technical things.

• How are the notebooks saved and re-used?
• Code is ready, I would like to get them into a notebook with a bit of a walkthrough.

2. Can't download datasets using the terminal, is this a temporary issue or not in the plans?
