- E-EAB feedback received this week.
- Emphasised need to have a WP vision for the next year
- In WP2 I've received few feedback from ESFRIS, no technical feedback from WP2 Task Leads
- MS12 will be dismissed as proposed (”ISO 16363 certification process underway in core data centres”)
- Periodic Report to be submitted today 03/02
- Project EC Review preparation (review date 02/03):
- Letter received with external experts and what will be reviewed.
- Review preparation meeting planned: 22/02/22.
- Next General Assembly being planned for July. Survey coming.
- Evaluation to have a closure event in Q4.
- NB. Need to compile a list of all publications (journal papers or conference proceedings) partially or fully funded by ESCAPE.:Title/Journal/Conference/Submission Date/Publication Date/Authors
From WP2 I reported what was discussed two weeks ago about 2022 Activities and Focus:
- Extending DAC21 activities during the next months to address new ideas and replay exercises that were partially accomplished during November 's exercise.
- Manifested interest from Experiments to keep the DIOS after ESCAPE, perceived as an ideal place to exercise and test tools and models.
- Interest from KM3NeT experiment (neutrinos) to adopt Data Lake and its Data Management tools after the DAC experience (currently in data taking).
- Intensifying activities and discussions for collaborations between ESCAPE DIOS infrastructure and CS3MESH4EOSC/ScienceMesh.
- Participated last week in a Panel Session at the Science Mesh Workshop "Scientific disciplines embracing no border Research Environment thanks to Science Mesh" https://indico.cern.ch/event/1075584/contributions/4676202/
- Focus on sustainability: consolidate experiment Rucio (+FTS) infrastructures and explore further possibilities, collaboration and interests.
- Set direction and evaluate manpower/resources to keep DIOS for the next years in view of new collaborations: VO, ESA, Fenix, EOSC-Future, InterTwin
