The LPNHE-neutrino group continues its active participation in the T2K experiment contributing to the near detector (ND280) operation, software development, data calibration and analysis as well as preparation of scientific publications. The group is also playing a leading role in the ND280-upgrade project and in the neutrino-related part of the NA61/SHINE scientific program. Very important results have been obtained and published during the recent years. In particular, profiting from the combined analysis of nu_mu -> nu_e and \bar nu_mu -> \bar nu_e appearance as well as nu_mu and \bar nu_mu disappearance, the T2K collaboration published (?) in the journal "Nature" new results excluding some regions of \delta_CP phase space at 3\sigma, see Fig.1. The best-fit value for \delta_CP is close to -pi/2, corresponding to the maximal CP violation. If true, this would lead to an early discovery of CP violation in the lepton sector in the Hyper-Kamiokande project. New hadron production results off the T2K replica target published recently by the NA61/SHINE collaboration are crucial for further reduction of (anti-)neutrino flux uncertainties in T2K, down to about 5%, unprecedented for accelerator neutrino experiments. This is important also for precise measurements of neutrino interaction cross sections. For the T2K-II experiment the group is assuring a coordination role for the ND280-upgrade project and is contributing to the development and production of the read-out electronics for the new high-angle time projection chambers (HA-TPCs). First prototypes of the front-end cards have already been produced and tested (?). The installation of the upgraded detector will be done in 2021, in parallel with the modernization of the J-PARC accelerator complex. Before the start of operation of the next-generation HK detector we plan to accumulate at least 10^22 p.o.t. The Hyper-Kamiokande project (Fig.2) - recently approved by the Japanese government - is now quickly gaining momentum towards the structurization of the collaboration and the start of detector construction. On top of being the most sensitive project for CP-violation measurements, HK will also be a unique observatory for neutrinos from astrophysical sources (synergy with other groups in the lab!) and for proton decay. The group has already defined potential contributions to the HK experiment and is now entering the R&D phase. The project consists in developing a system of clock distribution and time synchronization for up to 40000 PMTs.
