In the early 2000s, scientists in various fields were surprised to discover that results obtained with the help of computers were often difficult or impossible to reproduce. Computers were supposed to be deterministic machines, after all. In this seminar, I will explain why the reproducibility of computations is not trivial to achieve, and present tools that were developed over the last two decades to make it easier to archive and publish reproducible computations.
