• Paper draft
  • Corrections and comments to be sent to Adrian.
  • In general, the paper is too long for a publication but useful for a long review of the project. It is proposed to be split in two versions: a long one (arxiv, CALICE note? as a main technical reference document) and a short one of ~10 pages for publication.
    • We may skim a bit the content to avoid the publication (even in the arxiv) of some technical details that might be kept for ourselves as collaboration.

• Pedestal oscillation issue: not discussed.

• TB July preparation:
  • HARDWARE to be tested:
    • 7 old short slabs
    • slabs 13, 14 and 15 will not be examinated
    • 1 FEV13-Jp  --> some issues observed (not triggers are observed so far). If fixed:
      • Gluing of 4 wafers and HV will be studied and addressed during the following 2-3 weeks.
    • 1 FEV11_COB: commissioning is ongoing in the testboard. So far the noise studies are positive. Currently working in the production of a "real" slab inside a cassette with glued baby-wafers.
    • Long slab (5 ASU are working, 6 has some problems, the goal is 8)
      • Movable structure with possibility of rotating along the long axis.
  • Electronics: the idea is be to have as many independent DAQs and electronics as possible. Similar situation is the one we had last year with a small set of power supplies for the tests in the magnetic field.
  • Full prototype (short slabs) commissioning foreseen for the week of the 18th June.
  • Program: high priority to long slab and new short slabs testing.
    • Tungsten program moved to the least priority test. E/gamma separation not possible since we don't have time to perform the telescope+tlu integration and the fact that we need to change the are in the middle of the beam test will reduce effectively reduce our beam time.

    • The data acquisition time for the long slab has been estimated with a safety margin of a factor ~2.
    • The first week will be dedicated to long slab + some tests with a couple of the old slabs in front (or in the rear) for reference.
    • The second week will be dedicated to the debugging and deep commissioning of the two new slabs and, if possible, to the  debugging and deep commissioning of the other 7.
    • A dedicated day to the study of the pedestal oscillation issue is needed.
    • If time permits, a long run with tungsten will be a good idea. Not need of a full energy scan if the time is short.
