Fuseau horaire Europe/Paris

This workshop is dedicated to observations of the 21 cm signal from the epoch of reionization and/or the dark ages using the French NenuFAR telescope. NenuFAR ("New Extension in Nançay Upgrading LOFAR") is a new low-frequency radio telescope under construction at the Nançay Observatory near Orleans to extend the existing international LOFAR radio telescope. This workshop will gather people who are or are interested in working on NenuFAR 21 cm observations to update the current status and discuss the future planning including data analysis, scientific objectives, manpower, and collaborations.

In addition to conference talks, there will be plenty of time for open discussions. You are more than welcome to suggest the topics and/or leaders of the discussions.

Invited speakers:

  • Anastasia Fialkov (ENS)
  • Leon Koopmans (Kapteyn Astronomical Institute)
  • Benoit Semelin (Observatoire de Paris)
  • Cyril Tasse (Observatoire de Paris)
  • Ben Wandelt (IAP)
  • Philippe Zarka (Observatoire de Paris)

The NenuFAR workshop is organized at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (IAP), with support by the Lagrange Institute Paris. The registration is now open. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 23, 2015.
