The R&D instrumentation networks dedicated to photodetectors and semiconductors created in 2012 with the aim of promoting exchanges between the different laboratories active in the fields, are organising a two half-days meeting on June 3 and 4, 2024 at LPSC (Grenoble) on the topic : ""Photodetection with semiconductors". Talks will covers direct detection of light, from visible to infrared, of X-rays, as well as the detection of gamma-rays using converters.
This event will bring together IT, researchers and doctoral student working on intrumentation and wishing to discover and understand the latest technologies, their performances and their limits.
Submissions for oral presentations are now closed. You can still submit a poster contribution by sending an e-mail to the organizers. An international audience is expected: the presentation material will therefore be in English.
NEW: A visit to the XBIC beamline at ESRF will be organized at the end of the second day. The number of participants is limited. A few places are still available and inscriptions will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. A lunch box will be provided on June 4th to the people participating to the ESRF visit.
Les réseaux "R&D instrumentation" dédiés aux photodétecteurs et aux détecteurs semi-conducteurs créés en 2012 dans le but de promouvoir les échanges entre les différents laboratoires actifs dans les domaines, organisent deux demi-journées les 3 et 4 juin 2024 au LPSC (Grenoble) sur le thème de l’application des semi-conducteurs à la photodétection. Les présentations couvriront la détection directe de lumière du visible à l’infra-rouge, des rayons-X, ainsi que la détection des rayons gamma par le biais de convertisseurs.
Ces journées s'adressent principalement aux instrumentalistes (IT, chercheur.e.s et doctorant.e.s) désireux de découvrir et comprendre les dernières technologies, leurs performances et leurs limites.
Les soumissions pour les présentations orales sont maintenant fermées. Vous pouvez encore proposer un poster en envoyant un courriel aux organisatrices. Un public international est attendu : les supports des présentations seront donc en Anglais.
NOUVEAU : Une visite de la ligne XBIC à l'ESRF sera organisée à la fin de la deuxième journée. Le nombre de participants est limité. Quelques places sont encore disponibles et les inscriptions seront prise en compte selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Un panier repas est prévu le 4 juin pour les personnes participant à la visite.
